Call and tell them they SUCK!

Navarro Roofing was hired by us to put a complete roof on our home. They were told to replace all old particle board as well as any water damaged plywood with new plywood. We paid for the wood and work but found out later that they did not replace all the particle board or five other soft spots caused by prior leaks on the old plywood. Next thing they did poorly was the application of the shingles as they started with crooked lines and at the north west corner of the roof the shingles overlay each other where only 2-3 inch strips of shingles are visible and looks very bad. In addition they improperly installed the roof valley gutters so that leaks are currently staining an open beam and wood ceiling in the family room and kitchen as well as the sheet rock in the dining room. We have had another roofing contractor out to look so we know what the problems are. They didn’t properly seal around the fireplace so we get additional leakage from that into the kitchen. They did a poor job on the split level roof area that we had to pay another contractor additional to stop the leaks on the front porch, an open wood ceiling. They slammed packages of shingles and tar paper down on the roof so hard that in one room the ceiling sheet rock was loosened. We had the Facia board replaced by Navarro and on the ends of the roof they used shorter lengths scabbed together instead of buying the proper full length 2×8s, So now we have sagging on the ends. To add insult to injury they then didn’t replace several of the roof vent covers so old roofing got into the bathroom fans and they had to be replaced. They also replaced one roof hood by bending an old metal sign and screwing it over the vent. Yes, we notified them of the problems and they have refused to correct the problems.
